This month of March, the annual meeting of the prestigious Society of Surgical Oncology SSO, which has more than 75 years of history in the USA, took place at McCormick Place Center (Chicago).
Oncovision has been there as an exhibitor, presenting its products to more than 1,800 attendees and medical professionals specialized in oncological surgery, being the meeting with more attendees in its history.
Oncovision and Sentinella had a great impact during the congress thanks to the oral presentation done by Stanley P. Leong, MD, Chief of Cutaneous Oncology at California Pacific Medical Center CPMC, San Francisco. Leong presented the results of his study about radioguided surgery with gamma camera Sentinella in Melanoma application. In his study of 100 patients, Sentinella identified additional tumor-positive SLNs that are missed using traditional techniques.
During the event many attendees visited Oncovision’s booth, as well as key opinion leaders like Stanley P.Leong MD and Dr. Bargallo, Chief of Breast Tumors of Incan (México).
